Sudbourne Road - Rear Extension & Internal Alterations

Collfin Limited were recommended to the Clients. We produced a detailed Cost Plan for the scheme as drawn by Architect Your Home and secured the Contract following a negotiated process.

The main challenges presented by this project were that the works were to be undertaken within an occupied house for Clients with a young order to assist we established a temporary kitchen facility at First Floor Level as well as constructing a plywood enclosure on the staircase to separate & secure the habitable area from the work area.

In addition to the above, access to the work area was via the Front Entrance Door and all demolition debris, structural steelwork, general materials, joinery items, sanitaryware and finishes were load-out by hand via the Entrance Hallway.

Scope of Works: 
Structural alterations to create open plan arrangement within rear of existing house including insertion of substantial structural steelwork, new single storey rear extension, new concrete floor structure throughout incorporating insulation and underfloor heating system, new ceilings throughout, formation of Ground Floor Shower Room, Fitting Out of Cellar to form Utility Area, extensive ceramic wall & floor tiling works, attendance on Kitchen and Glazed Door installations
